MISSION: 

Commitment to economic development of the City of Sombor through stimulating the existing companies to expand their capacities, creating attractive investment environment, and a consistent reform of city administration essentially devoted to long-term City development.

AIMS:

INCREASED INVESTMENTS – support to existing and future investors

• Creating and continuously updating the city’s free capacities offer 
• Defining human resources supply and investors’ HR requirements 
• Continuous promotion of investment potentials (fairs, expert meetings, media, cooperation with various organisations, promotional material, visiting locations etc.)
• Bringing together city departments and public enterprises to facilitate investors
• Improving local business capabilities 
• Continuously updating the city’s website with information on open competitions, subventions, projects, locations and other advantages for businesses 
• Supporting public-private partnership (PPP) initiatives 

Implementation of STRATEGIC PLAN

• Coordination with the City Development Council 
• Cooperation with European, national and provincial institutions, donors and the non-governmental sector 
• Planning and monitoring of projects’ implementation    

Creating a DATABASE 

• Database of business entities in the city
