President of the City Assembly  - Siniša Lazić

Siniša Lazić was born in 1967 in Sombor where he attended primary school. He completed Secondary Agricultural School in Futog and graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Novi Sad.

He was employed at the Scientific Research Institute ‘Zemun polje’ in the Department of Genetic Engineering and with the Collective Farm ‘Zadrugarka’ in Sombor.    

In 1996, he was appointed commercial director of a privately held company ‘Signal’ d.o.o. in Sombor. 

He was the Provincial Secretary for Agriculture in the Executive Council of AP Vojvodina from 2005 to 2008. He currently holds the position of vice president of the Assembly of AP Vojvodina.

He is the president of the City Committee of the Democratic Party in Sombor. 

He is fluent in English. 

Married, with three daughters, he lives in Sombor.
